and "Alerttype+Counter.ods" in the "doc" directory. These files can be used to add

a database to OpenOffice and to receive information currently stored in the

database.

MailGate.odb contains database information:

• An ODBC data source is used (called "MailGate")

• The username and password is "mailgate"

Additionally the file contains a macro which automatically registers the database

in OpenOffice. See Macro for details. (This works only for OpenOffice 3.1 or later).

Alerttype+Counter.ods:

• Contains a set of data received from the database. The data can be refreshed to

get the latest database content.

• Contains sample charts

Macro

The macro is used to automatically register the database when opening the odb-

document. This macro only works with OpenOffice 3.1 (or later).
